The story is taking shape

The broad outline was already set, but the story only truly comes alive in the writing. Scenes begin to connect more naturally, characters make choices that carry consequences and the tension starts to find a rhythm of its own.

It is a rewarding point in the process. The book is no longer just a collection of ideas and chapters. Slowly, it becomes a whole in which the different storylines strengthen one another.

Quiet time to move forward

A free weekend creates room to remain inside the world of the book for longer. To reread a scene, sharpen a conversation and feel whether the pace is right. The aim is not simply to write as many words as possible, but to make sure every chapter genuinely moves the story forward.

Divided Shores is developing a clearer identity of its own. The course is set — and this weekend, we have sailed another good stretch.
